A fun-loving, silly cynic in old sweaters, Camilo José Torres is an actor and a writer based in New York City. He hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico, with a rich cultural background he brings to every role. 


The son of a writer, Camilo has been surrounded by art his entire life. He's got a deep passion for film, television, theatre and any other form of storytelling he can get his hands on. He's the type of guy who can recognize directors by their themes, screenwriters by their dialect and film composers by their style. 

He'll make a snarky comment one minute, then focus on a scene the next. Graduating from Pace University with a BFA in Acting For Film, Television, Voiceovers and Commercials, Camilo is ready to share his love of film with any crew member of any set he ever finds himself on.
